USDA to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Plum Creek Timber Company's Access Project in Wenatchee National Forest

The US Department of Agriculture's Forest Service will analyze the environmental impacts of a proposal by Plum Creek Timber Company to issue easements and construct roads across National Forest System lands in the Yakima River Basin, in response to a request from the company for access to approximately 45 parcels of land within the Wenatchee National Forest boundary.
