EPA Approves Virginia's Air Quality Implementation Plan for VOC RACT

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposes to approve Virginia's State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions to establish volatile organic compound (VOC) reasonably available control technology (RACT) for six major sources in the state, including Phillip Morris, Hercules, Virginia Power Station, and the Hopewell Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. The approval is considered noncontroversial and will be finalized without a second comment period if no adverse comments are received.
