NFIP Standard Flood Insurance Policy Deductible Increase Corrections

The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) has released corrections to a proposed rule that would have increased the deductible under the Standard Flood Insurance Policy from $750 to $1,000 for eligible structures, a change that was set to take effect on October 7, 1997.
