New England Fishery Management Council to Hold Public Hearings on Atlantic Sea Scallop Fishery Amendment

The New England Fishery Management Council will conduct public hearings to gather comments on Amendment 7 to the Atlantic Sea Scallop Fishery Management Plan, which proposes allowing vessel-to-vessel transfers of days-at-sea and closed area management under a framework adjustment program.
