Squirrel Meadows-Grand Targhee Resort Land Exchange

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service plans to prepare an environmental impact statement for a proposed land exchange between the Targhee National Forest and Grand Targhee Resort, where the forest would trade 265 acres of land for 330 acres from Booth Creek, Inc. The exchange requires the appraised values of the lands to be equal, with any differences made up by reducing the acreage of National Forest System lands or including a cash payment not exceeding 25 percent of the appraised value of the Federal lands.
