Regulatory Agency Proposes Industry Standard for Pipeline Leak Detection

The U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (RSPA) is proposing to adopt the American Petroleum Institute's (API) API 1130, 'Computational Pipeline Monitoring,' as a referenced document for pipeline leak detection, aiming to advance the use of leak detection technology on hazardous liquid pipelines.
