EPA Receives Request for Emergency Exemption for Bifenthrin to Control Silverleaf Whitefly on Broccoli and Lettuce

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has received a request from the California Department of Pesticide Regulations to use the pesticide bifenthrin, specifically Capture 2EC, to treat large areas of broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and rapini, as well as lettuce, to control silverleaf whitefly, and is now soliciting public comment on the proposal.
