Termination of the Prospective Payment Assessment Commission and the Physician Payment Review Commission

The Balanced Budget Act of 1997 mandates the Comptroller General to discontinue the Prospective Payment Assessment Commission and the Physician Payment Review Commission following the establishment of the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, as announced in this notice.
