OSM Approves Indiana Regulatory Program Amendment with Exceptions

The Office of Surface Mining (OSM) has approved a proposed amendment to the Indiana regulatory program, with certain exceptions, to align with the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 and incorporate state initiatives, following revisions to the Indiana Surface Coal Mining and Reclamation Act enacted by the Indiana General Assembly in 1995.
