EPA Certifies Urban Bus Retrofit/Rebuild Equipment from Johnson Matthey Incorporated

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has certified equipment for the Urban Bus Retrofit/Rebuild Program, meeting the 0.10 g/bhp-hr standard, after a 45-day public review and comment period. The certified equipment, known as the Catalytic Reduction Technology-Cam kit, was submitted by Johnson Matthey Incorporated (JMI) and includes proprietary camshafts, a catalytic exhaust muffler, and specific engine rebuild parts.
