US Navy to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Continued Use of Bravo 20 Bombing Range

The US Department of the Navy plans to prepare a Legislative Environmental Impact Statement (LEIS) to assess the environmental impact of continuing to use the Bravo 20 Bombing Range (B-20) at Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada, as part of its military operations. The LEIS will evaluate the effects of the range on the surrounding public lands and serve as a recommendation to Congress on whether to continue withdrawing lands from the checkerboard pattern.
