New York State Prohibition on Marine Discharges of Vessel Sewage; Final Affirmative Determination

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region II has determined that adequate facilities for safe and sanitary sewage removal and treatment are available for Mamaroneck Harbor in New York. As a result, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will prohibit the discharge of untreated sewage from vessels in the harbor, effective immediately.
