EPA Extends Deadline for Review of Section 126 Petitions from 8 States

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the deadline for taking final action on petitions submitted by eight states, including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont, to require EPA to assess the impact of sources upwind of those states on nonattainment problems in those states.
