HUD 2020 Management Reform Plan; Notice of New HUD Field Structure

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) published a notice in the Federal Register on August 12, 1997, outlining its 2020 Management Reform Plan. The plan aims to empower communities and restore HUD's reputation by improving program efficiency and effectiveness. The new field structure, part of the plan, reallocate resources to strengthen service delivery from 81 existing field offices, without closing any offices or reducing services.
