Clean Air Act Advisory Committee: Accident Prevention Subcommittee Meeting
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is required by the Clean Air Act to publish regulations to prevent accidental chemical releases and reduce their severity. The regulations, which apply to approximately 66,000 facilities, will require these facilities to implement risk management programs and submit information to EPA for use in chemical emergency preparedness and prevention efforts.
