National Institutes of Health to Grant Exclusive License for Ocular Gene Therapy Inventions to GenVec, Inc.

The National Institutes of Health is considering granting an exclusive worldwide license to GenVec, Inc., a biotechnology company, to use U.S. Patent Applications related to ocular gene therapy, which are owned by the U.S. government, to develop treatments for eye diseases.
