US Establishes Additional Manatee Sanctuary in Florida

The US government has created an emergency rule to protect West Indian manatees in Kings Bay, Crystal River, Florida, by establishing a 120-day sanctuary and prohibiting waterborne activities to prevent harassment during winter months.
