Federal Geographic Data Committee Seeks Public Comments on Geologic Map Symbolization Standard

The Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) is soliciting public comments on a proposal to develop a standard for geologic map symbolization, which would require Federal agencies to follow the standard when portraying geologic data in map form.
