EPA Finalizes Clarification on Hazardous Waste Land Disposal Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized amendments to the rule governing treatment variances from the national Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) treatment standards, allowing for variances when treatment is not technically possible or would lead to environmentally counterproductive results.
