National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection to Meet on January 13 and 14, 1998, to Discuss Multiple Policy Issues

The National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection will convene on January 13 and 14, 1998, to continue its deliberations on several policy issues, including Interstate shipment of State-inspected product, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point inspection models, and inspection resource management in a HACCP environment, as well as new topics such as the roles of federal, state, and local governments in farm-to-table food safety and pathogen testing and product disposition.
