HUD Issues Regulation on Self-Testing for Residential Real Estate Lending Transactions and Fair Housing Act Compliance

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued a regulation requiring lenders to conduct self-tests on their residential real estate-related lending transactions to ensure compliance with the Fair Housing Act (FHAct). The rule also updates the complaint processing regulations.
