US Department of Agriculture to Cover Some Expenses for Transporting and Disposing of Tuberculosis-Exposed Animals

The US Department of Agriculture will now reimburse herd owners for some expenses related to transporting and disposing of cattle, bison, and cervids that have been exposed to tuberculosis, in an effort to reduce the spread of the disease and promote its eradication in the US livestock population.
