Irish Potatoes Grown in Colorado; Change in Handling Regulation for Area No. 2

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule change for handling potatoes grown in Area No. 2 of Colorado, reducing the minimum size requirement for Centennial Russet potatoes from 2 inches in diameter or 4 ounces in weight to 1 7/8 inches in diameter. This change aims to increase marketing flexibility for growers, boost returns for farmers, and provide consumers with a greater supply of potatoes.
