Navy Issues Interim Rule to Allow Shipbuilding Capability Preservation Agreements

The Navy has amended its acquisition regulations to enable the Department of the Navy to enter into agreements with shipbuilders to preserve shipbuilding capabilities, in line with policy objectives set by the US Code.
