NMFS Announces Experimental Fishing Proposal for Dogfish in Nantucket Shoal

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public comment on a proposal to allow vessels to fish for dogfish in the Nantucket Shoal Dogfish Exemption Area using gillnets, a practice otherwise restricted by regulations under the Magnuson-Stevens Act.
