U.S. Department of Commerce Launches Personnel Demonstration Project to Test Alternative Management System

The Office of Personnel Management is conducting a demonstration project to test a new alternative personnel management system, building on the National Institute of Standards and Technology's 1987 demonstration project, for four Department of Commerce organizations: Technology Administration, Economics and Statistics Administration, National Telecommunications and Information Administration, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
