OPM Requests OMB Review for Reclearance of Expiring Information Collections: OPM Forms 1496 and 1496A

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is seeking reclearance of its OPM Forms 1496 and 1496A, used by eligible former Federal employees to apply for a deferred Civil Service annuity, due to a major revision in the law effective October 1, 1956, and is inviting public comments on the necessity and burden of the information collection.
