Minerals Management Service Withdraws Proposed Rule on Release of Third-Party Proprietary Information

The Minerals Management Service has withdrawn a proposed rule that would have allowed the release of third-party proprietary information in certain appeals and dispute resolution cases, and plans to revise its regulations governing the administrative appeals process, including disclosure of proprietary information, following a report from the Royalty Policy Committee.
