U.S. Government Amends Privacy Act of 1974 to Update Records Management System

The U.S. government has recently passed an amendment to the Privacy Act of 1974, aimed at enhancing the management and protection of sensitive records, in accordance with the Federal Records Act of 1984 and the Government in the Sunshine Act of 1976.
