US Department of Agriculture Finalizes Rule for Donating Processed Agricultural Commodities Overseas

The US Department of Agriculture has clarified regulations for the Commodity Credit Corporation's (CCC) procedures for purchasing and donating processed agricultural commodities to foreign countries under the Agricultural Trade Development and Assistance Act of 1954, and implemented recent changes to the Merchant Marine Act of 1996 regarding shipments through Great Lakes ports.
