Nuclear Regulatory Commission Requests Comment on Proposed Collection of Information for Risk-informed Decisions on Plant-Specific Changes

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on a proposed collection of information related to the use of probabilistic risk assessment in risk-informed decisions on plant-specific changes to the current licensing basis, as outlined in Regulatory Guides RG-1.174 through RG-1.178. The NRC is preparing a submittal to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
