NHTSA Allows Importation of Non-Compliant 1992 BMW 7 Series Cars
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made a decision to permit the importation of 1992 BMW 7 Series passenger cars that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, as they are substantially similar to U.S.-certified models and can be easily modified to comply with safety regulations.
