Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment Amendment Allows Asymmetrical Headlamp Beams on Motorcycles
The U.S. government has amended the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard on lighting to permit motorcycles to have asymmetrical headlamp beams, completing a rulemaking petition granted to Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. and further harmonizing U.S. lighting standards with those of other countries.
