SBA Considers Terminating Nonmanufacturer Rule Class Waiver for Certain Medical Equipment
The U.S. Small Business Administration is considering ending a waiver that allows small businesses to provide certain medical equipment, including CT scanners and X-ray machines, without having to manufacture the equipment themselves. This change would affect small businesses that have won contracts valued over $250,000 and are awarded set-aside contracts for service-disabled veterans, women-owned businesses, or HUBZone areas.
