SBA Increases Small Business Size Standards for 45 Industries in Various Sectors

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is updating its size standards for 45 industries in sectors including Transportation and Warehousing, Information, Finance and Insurance, and Real Estate and Rental and Leasing. The changes will affect 18 industries in the Transportation and Warehousing sector, eight in Information, ten in Finance and Insurance, and nine in Real Estate and Rental and Leasing. The new size standards will be based on receipts, not the previous gross receipts-based system.
