Federal Acquisition Regulation; Applicability of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) Coverage

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to revise the criteria for applying Cost Accounting Standards to negotiated government contracts, exempting this regulatory action from Office of Management and Budget review and classification as a major rule.
