Solicitation of Third Party Logistics Services for Freight Shipment Test Pilot Project

The General Services Administration (GSA) is planning to issue a solicitation for award of a firm fixed price plus incentive task order contract for Third Party Logistics (3PL) Services. The contract awarded will be used to pilot test the potential economies and efficiencies of using 3PL services for Government freight traffic and to evaluate whether proposed new approaches to ordering transportation services and paying and auditing transportation billings could be used on a Governmentwide basis. The majority of shipments in the test will originate at GSA's Southeastern Distribution Center (SEDC), 8400 Tatum Road, Palmetto, Georgia for delivery to the SEDC's primary customer locations. GSA solicits your comments on the proposed solicitation outlined in the supplementary information.

This information is needed to facilitate nondiscrimination in GSA's Federal financial assistance programs, consistent with Federal civil rights laws and regulations that apply to recipients of Federal financial assistance.
