U.S. Trade Representative Terminates Investigation into Argentina's Textile Tariffs, Demands Compliance with WTO Rulings
The U.S. Trade Representative has decided not to take action under the Trade Act of 1974 against Argentina's textile tariffs, but will monitor the country's efforts to comply with World Trade Organization (WTO) rulings, which found that Argentina's specific duties and statistical tax on imports violate the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) 1994.
