U.S. Trade Representative Allocates 200,000 Metric Tons of Raw Cane Sugar

The U.S. Trade Representative's Office is allocating the additional 200,000 metric tons of raw cane sugar available under the current tariff-rate quota, triggered by a 14.2% stocks-to-use ratio reported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in May 1998.
