U.S. Trade Representative Requests Comments on Proposed Duties on European Banana Imports

The U.S. Trade Representative is seeking written comments and public testimony on a proposed increase in duties on certain European banana imports, which would be imposed if the European Communities fail to implement WTO recommendations by January 1, 1999.
