United States-European Union Transatlantic Economic Partnership

The U.S. and EU are exploring the possibility of extending the U.S.-EU mutual recognition agreement to new sectors, including road safety equipment, marine safety equipment, and calibration services, with a potential proposal to be made as early as December 15, 1998.
