FCC Amends Rules for Reporting Telephone Network Service Disruptions

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has updated its rules to require carriers to submit final reports of telephone network outages to the Chief of the Office of Engineering and Technology, rather than the Chief of the Common Carrier Bureau.
