FCC Grants Partial Forbearance for Broadband Personal Communications Services

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) partially grants the Personal Communications Industry Association's (PCIA) petition to exempt broadband personal communications services from regulation, while also seeking new comments on forbearance from regulation in wireless markets. The FCC is also issuing a notice of proposed rulemaking, which is further detailed in this edition of the Federal Register.
