Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service and Forward-Looking Mechanism for High Cost Support for Non-Rural LECs

The Federal-State Joint Board is seeking revenue information from non-rural local exchange carriers and holding companies to determine federal high cost support for eligible carriers starting July 1, 1999. The request comes as the Commission considers a new economic cost mechanism for high cost support.
