Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service Selects Model Platform for Estimating Non-Rural Carriers' Forward-Looking Costs

The Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service has chosen a model platform to estimate the forward-looking costs of non-rural local exchange carriers, which will allow the Commission to estimate the cost of building a telephone network to serve subscribers in their actual geographic locations.
