SBC Communications Requests Reduction of Regulations in Biennial Review

On May 8, 1998, SBC Communications submitted a petition to the FCC seeking to reduce or eliminate regulations on incumbent local exchange carriers, including rate of return represcription rules and detariffing certain services subject to competition.
