Medtronic, Inc. Receives FDA Approval for Interstim Sacral Nerve Stimulation (SNS) System

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Medtronic, Inc.'s application for premarket approval of the Interstim SNS System, following a recommendation from the Gastroenterology and Urology Devices Panel, and a notification from the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health on September 29, 1997.
