FDA Approves Sodium Stearate as Animal Feed Additive

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to allow the safe use of sodium stearate as an anticaking agent in animal feeds, following a petition filed by Betty J. Pendleton, in response to a request from the pet food industry.
