FDA Extends Comment Period for Nutrient Content Claims and Definition of 'Healthy' Term

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending the comment period for its proposed rulemaking on the use of the term 'healthy' until May 19, 1998, in response to requests for an extension, to provide interested persons with additional time to submit comments on the proposed rule.
