FDA Issues Final Rule on Certain Over-the-Counter Drug Ingredients

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has finalized a rule stating that certain ingredients in over-the-counter (OTC) medications are not safe or effective, and may be mislabeled, following public comments and review by advisory panels.
